Death at the Refuge
Artist
Karen Zuk Rosenblatt
Medium
Painting - Oil On Canvas
Description
The baby deer cries as his mother lays dead in the back of the truck. She was shot with an arrow, a slow and painful death. A deer hunt is now being proposed at the Refuge for the first time. This is my personal protest.

Sad but a true statement, and many years ago, there was no trucks to haul any kind of meat around. If anybody shops at the grocery store for food, I dont want to hear no boo hoos, because that same food you are eating was treated way worse. Vegetable or Nonvegatable. Plus with the food hike in prices, its more logical to get your own, as long as you arent torturing whatever you get and providing for your family, thats the most important thing. Unless you are the type of person that would give up a family member for a plant, I dont want to hear nothin. Good Artwork.
